Opening a clinic? Get found from day one.

A new clinic has no reviews, no history and, often, no patients who know the address. The first few weeks decide whether people can find you, trust you and book. Send us what you have so far, even if it is a draft site and a name. We check the path a new patient takes and send you a short written report.

What we look at

We check before you open, while changes are cheap. A few weeks after, you can ask for a follow-up look, which we quote if you want it. If you have already opened, the check-up works the same way.

1. Your name and details, written one way

Clinic name, address, phone number and hours should read the same on your website, your Google profile, your booking page, your social pages and any directory listing. A new clinic often has three versions of its name by opening week. We list every version we find and tell you which one to keep.

2. Your Google profile

Many new patients see this first. We check that the profile exists, is claimed, has the right categories, shows your hours (including holiday hours), services, photos and a booking link. Verification steps vary by business, so we tell you what Google is asking for and what to have ready.

3. The website on a phone

We open your site on a phone the way a new patient would. Can they tell what you treat, who it is for and where you are within a few seconds? Is the booking button easy to find? Does the phone number tap to call? We also look for what a new clinic often forgets: practitioner names, a first-visit page, parking and access.

4. Booking, start to finish

We walk through booking a first visit on a phone, up to the final step and without submitting, so no fake appointments are made. We note the number of taps, whether the right visit type is offered, and whether a patient can book out of hours without calling.

If you have not chosen booking software yet, our guide on what to ask before you sign may help. We know Jane and Cliniko well. Using something else? Tell us in the form and we’ll say whether we can help.

5. The phone and the front desk

Calls from new patients are often the first real conversation with your clinic. We look at what happens when the phone rings and nobody picks up: is there a voicemail greeting that names the clinic, a text-back or an online booking link to fall back on?

6. Your first reviews

You cannot buy reviews and you should not offer anything for them. What you can do is decide, before opening, how and when you ask every patient. We check that your review link works and that the ask is easy for your front desk or for you. Regulator rules on how clinics may display reviews differ by profession and province or state, so we note what to check with your own regulator.

7. After opening: a follow-up look, if you want one

If you ask for a follow-up look a few weeks in, we ask what you are seeing and look again at the public pages. Early signs are thin, so we are careful about what they can and cannot tell you.

For reference, in our scan of 4,348 physio and chiro homepages (3,886 physio and 462 chiro, November 2026), 33% of physio and 26% of chiro sites had no online booking we could find, and 66% of physio and 70% of chiro sites showed no review feed or star rating. How we counted.

What you get back

A short written report, sent to your inbox. For each area above:

  • What we saw. In plain words, with screenshots where helpful.
  • What to change. A specific change, not “improve your SEO”.
  • Priority. Before opening, in the first month, or later.

The report marks what to do before opening, in the first month, and later.

The report is yours to keep. You can hand it to your web designer, do the work yourself, or ask us for help.

How it works

  1. The audit. You send your clinic name, website or draft, and your email. We send back the report. No card, no call unless you ask for one.
  2. The fixed fix. If you want help with what the report found, we quote the work in writing as one fixed price, with the scope and timeline spelled out. Nothing goes live without your approval.
  3. Monthly care. After the fix, you can choose monthly care to keep your profile, reviews and booking path in shape. It is month to month, and you can stop any time. You can also start with monthly care and skip the fix.

We do not need patient information and will not ask for it. We look at your public website, your public Google profile and your booking page as a patient sees them.

Questions owners ask

Q: I have not opened yet and I only have a logo. Is that too early?

No. Profile, naming and booking decisions are easier to make before launch than to undo afterward. Send what you have and tell us your planned opening date.

Q: Do I need a website before I open?

You need somewhere a patient can confirm what you treat, where you are and how to book. A simple site can do that.

Q: Will you tell me which booking software to buy?

We will tell you what we saw and what to compare for your clinic. The choice is yours. We know Jane and Cliniko well, and our guide covers the questions to ask any vendor.

Q: Can you promise how many patients I will get?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. We can show you what is stopping people from finding and booking you. What happens next depends on your area, your services and your competition.

Q: What does the audit cost me?

Your clinic’s details and about 10 minutes. Agencies sell this kind of audit for around $1,200. You get the written report either way, with no obligation. If it shows work you want help with, we would like the chance to quote it. That is the whole catch.
