Where a Halifax clinic usually starts

The biggest gap we saw in Halifax was online booking among optometry clinics: 80% of homepages had none we could find, against 44% across the cities we checked. If your clinic is one of them, start there. Most booking software already includes a public booking page, so it is usually a settings job, not a new website. See online booking.

Everything else we do is on our services page, and how we work explains the audit, the fixed fix and monthly care.

Questions owners ask

Are you located in Halifax?

No. Clinic Chime is based in Vaughan, Ontario, and we work with clinics in Halifax remotely. We do not have an office in Halifax. The audit, approvals and reports happen by email, video call or phone.

Is online booking common for clinics in Halifax?

It depends on the type of clinic. Of the homepages we checked, chiropractic clinics were the most likely to offer it (80% had online booking we could find) and optometry clinics the least (20%).

Which booking software do Halifax clinics use?

On the homepages we checked, the systems we detected most often were Jane, Square and Acuity. We count what our scan can see on a homepage, so clinics that link to booking from another page are not counted.

Who regulates advertising for clinics in Nova Scotia?
